Structured Support, Lasting Change

Our members work collaboratively with their change team to set observable and measurable goals, address personal challenges or barriers, and access resources that support their efforts to make lasting life changes.

CrossRoads is a Washoe County Human Services Agency (HSA) funded and lead initiative that serves Washoe County residents who are struggling with a range of personal life challenges through a peer-lead, alcohol and drug-free structured housing program with integrated wrap-around supportive services. HSA CrossRoads teams with RISE to offer unique campuses that serve Men, Women, Women with Children, and Families.

  • "CrossRoads provided me with the essential tools to rediscover my true self. I learned how to transform my though processes and how to cultivate a positive mindset. It was through that journey of self-discovering that my recovery truly began."

  • "CrossRoads Families has given me more than I ever thought possible; a place where I can let my guard down, be fully myself, and learn how to trust people again. Because I chose to trust this process & community, my life changed in the best ways. I've rebuilt my relationship with my daughter and her mom, something that means everything to me. The program's belief in me helped me find my way back to believe in myself."

  • "While in my addiction, I didn't know how I'd get through the next hour, let alone the next day. I was hopeless and felt the world would be better if I wasn't in it. Now, with the support of CrossRoads, I am beginning to love my life again. I can feel that I am valuable to others, as they are to me, and I am beginning to envision a better future for myself & my daughter."
