There’s more than one way to contribute to our work!

RISE accepts monetary donations through the donation form on this page, or through physical check. To donate via check, please Contact Us or email info@renoinitiative.org.

In-kind donations are non-cash contributions of goods or services that directly support our programs and the people we serve. Examples include clothing, hygiene items, food, household supplies, technology, and professional services such as transportation, maintenance, or training.

If you would like to offer RISE an in-kind donation, please fill out the form below or Contact Us. Thank you for helping to sustain our work!

In-Kind Donation Guidelines

We are grateful for the generosity of our community and rely on in-kind donations to support the individuals we serve. To ensure all items are safe, respectful, and immediately usable, we ask that donated goods meet the following guidelines:

  • Gently used or new condition only
Please donate items that you would feel comfortable giving to a friend or family member. Clothing and goods should be clean, functional, and free of rips, tears, stains, or strong odors.

  • Ready to use
Items should not require repair or deep cleaning (beyond the initial wash & dry we do on items). This allows us to distribute donations quickly and efficiently.

  • Seasonally appropriate and practical
We prioritize items that meet current needs, such as weather-appropriate clothing, essential hygiene products, and everyday household items. Please do not donate summer items in winter, etc.

  • Safe and complete
Donated items should be in good working order, with all necessary parts included (for example, complete sets, working appliances, or unopened hygiene products).

  • Thoughtful giving
We encourage donors to consider whether an item is truly useful and respectful for someone receiving support. Our goal is to provide items that promote dignity, comfort, and care.

Items that do not meet these guidelines may be declined due to limited storage capacity and the need to prioritize high-quality, usable donations. If your item(s) meet these guidelines, please fill out this form. Thank you so much!
